Earlier Russia circulated its own draft United Nations resolution at the Security Council, aimed at bringing peace to Georgia. This comes a day after Russia's ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin blocked a Western-sponsored draft that demanded an immediate withdrawal of Russian forces from Georgia.
