American Michael Phelps has won his 7th gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Beijing, equalling the record set in 1972 by fellow American, Mark Spitz.
Phelps took the 100-meter butterfly by just a fraction of a second; the first race in which he did not set a world record. In other Olympic news, Germany won the silver and bronze medals in the men's 25-meter rapid fire pistol competition on Saturday. Gold went My Games ...
